PFERD 13025 Universal Guide Bar Edge Shaper
Corrects the problem when Chainsaw Guide Bar Rails are uneven; that is when rail wears unevenly and one rail is lower than the other. Guide Bar Rail wear is expected, but when one rail is lower than the other the chain is tilted in the cut and causes the chain saw cut to skew to the right or left depending which rail is lower. The problem is quickly corrected by using the PFERD Guide Bar Shaper to make the Guide Bar Rails even again. The tool can also be used to remove burrs from the side of the Guide Bar.
The File is held in place without set screws or clamps.
